Oh no way! I moved from Hong Kong to the UK about a year ago for university, and this reminds me of the time when I was feeling a bit sick and made congee for myself. Rice cookers are really life savers in this situation. I really loved this though, and there's a strange joy in realising that there are other people who find the same things weird about the UK as me.

this made me cry. i love congee but the chances of eating it gets less and less as i grow older and apart from home :(
